Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca Arrival – Marrakech
Your 7 Days Private Tour from Casablanca begins with a pickup from the Casablanca airport upon your arrival. After a 3-hour drive on the highway, you will reach Marrakech and check into a traditional riad in the medina (old city). Spend the rest of the day exploring the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks. Overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 2: Marrakech Sightseeing
Embark on a guided tour of Marrakech Medina, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore the bustling medina at your own pace.
Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Depart at 8 a.m. for the Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi N’Tichka pass with stops for panoramic views and photos of Berber villages. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous for its role in films like Gladiator and The Mummy. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as “The gate of the desert,” and visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Proceed through the Rose Valley and the Skoura palm grove to reach Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a cozy hotel/riad.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Sahara Desert
After breakfast, explore the Dades Valley, including the unique rock formations known as “monkey toes” and the Kasbah of Ait Yul. Travel to the Todra Gorges for a walk under the 300m high red cliffs. Continue to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch before reaching Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride to your desert camp in the Sahara, where you will spend the night under the starry sky. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
Day 5: Sahara Desert – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, journey north through the Tafilalet palm grove and the Ziz Valley. Stop for a panoramic view of the valley and the town of Aoufous. Continue through the Cedar forest, possibly spotting monkeys, and visit the Swiss-like town of Ifrane. Arrive in Fez by 6 p.m. and check in at a traditional riad in the medina.
Day 6: Fez Sightseeing – Casablanca
After breakfast, meet with a local guide to explore Fez, the oldest and holiest of Morocco’s Imperial cities. Tour the 2000-year-old medina, visiting the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, Nejjarine Fountain, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, Karaouine Mosque, and the famous Chouara Tanneries. Depart for Casablanca in the afternoon, arriving in the evening for check-in at a cozy hotel.
Day 7: Casablanca Airport
